Some of you have ridden with my friend Ben Bertiger (when he was as young as 10 yrs old at Tour de Palm Springs). I've been riding with Ben since he was 3 (earlier than that, but that's when he started pedaling) and he is now Cat 1. Root for him him at the Men's 1-2 race starting at 3pm, ending at 4:15. He heads off to UC Santa Barbara as a freshman in the fall.
