Title: Cruiser Ride for Saturday, October 20, 2012
Post by: Margareth Demery on October 18, 2012, 07:36:20 PM
Hello,

Planning a nice ride on Saturday. Ride through Rancho Santa Fe & Fairbanks. Up the Coast to the Oceanside Harbor.  Depending on the timing, we have a couple of options, we could also incorporate the San Luis Ray Trail and back, Take the Sprinter  ($2.00 or $1.00 for seniors 60+) or just ride back to San Marcos â€" we are open to suggestions and also note that we have a no drop policy.  We do require helmets and that you have a road bicycle.  Ride rate is moderate. Know your limits and “don’t” forget your water bottles....

Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Best regards,

P.S.  Depart time will be at 8 a.m. So get there a bit early.  Restaurant Row in San Marcos. Approx 30-40 miles.

Those that are interested, after ride lunch or beverage get together also an option  :)

Hello,

Too bad about the weather today  :'(.  I showed did up at Restaurant Row about 7:50 a.m. till 8:20 a.m. and there were several Cruiser riders there and about a dozen Roadies as well.  As it turned out some of us went to IHOP and had breakfast and chit chatted for a bit then roads were drying out so we did a ride after all. Road the hills of Lake San Marcos and up Twin Oaks.

Till the next time then,
Peg
