WE WILL BE TAKING SECOND PINK KIT ORDERS UNTIL NOVEMBER 11th.
If you missed out on the first PINK KIT order, here's your chance. Just contact Dee (doloreswells@hotmail.com) or Karla (karlajohnston@cox.net).
:o
Thank you, Karla.
i guess we know who runs this club...must be the "pinks" and the "girlie men".
Most of us men are secure enough about our masculinity that we have the freedom to wear any color we want. How bout you?
Personally, I think the guys in pink looked HOT today!!! :-*
Not only are these hot, but they're durable. I hit the deck at the "slinky end" of the paceline yesterday at 24mph, and despite a mild shoulder separation and road rash (mostly on my left arm and shoulder), my pink long jersey still lives for more rides - sorry, Greg ;). My t-shirt was shredded, too. So, kudos to Champion for providing durability as well. Highly recommended armor for inattentive cyclists at the end of a pace line.
Are there any pictures of this pink kit? I'd love to see one before deciding to place an order.
Also, what clothing manufacturer is it using, Voler?
Thanks.

The manufacturer is champion. The design is the same as the Volar yellow kit but the yellow part is pink. It appears the same design to me anyway.
I tried it on and liked the fit and the design in pink. I think it runs a little small so consider that in sizing.

There is a link off the Clothing page. The direct link for the pictures is: http://northcountycycleclub.com/clothingPink.htm
We should have gotten a picture of you in it.. Yes, it looked hot! Glad it was not destroyed. A little worn.. and bloody but fixable
By the way.. i am following this thread and did not get this post.

The pink sets are terrific (I'm not going to touch the male/female hotbed of comments!), but they do run a bit small. I wear a size small in the Pearl Izumi clothing line (Ugh, did I just confess my size to the world!?), but I found my size small pink set is too small. If you could use a (never worn) size small pink short sleve jersey & matching short set at the ordering price please give me a call at 760-470-2662 or email me. I will be ordering the next size up thanks! Safe & Happy Riding, Christina
I wore my pink bibs yesterday. The pink and the gray look so nice together. Great job! Thank you so much for doing this. How much are the bibs again? If it's not too late I wouldn't mind getting another.
Hi folks,
This is Phyllis, sister, Laura. You may have remembered us joining you for some rides just after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. I have had the dubious honor of handling the uniforms for the New Orleans Bicycle Club ( www.neworleansbicycleclub.org ) for the past 5 years. We have had a variety of uniforms (Verge, M9, and Giordana). I think we have had the best feedback from the Giordana kits, however their price and quantity requirements are a bit higher. I am curious to know how the Champion kits compare to the Voler that I think you have had in the past. How does the fabric feel, wick, etc? How does the chamois feel, etc. I would appreciate any feedback you may have. If you would like to reply back off the list, my email address is lwilliams@p-m-m.com .
Thanks!
Laura
