The new 2013 NCCC kits are ready to be viewed by all. After a few design iterations with local sports clothing manufacturer Zoca, the kit committee agreed unanimously on the jersey design, with sponsors per the previous vote. We're hoping everyone is just as excited as we are about the new design. Please visit the Members > Clothing page (http://northcountycycleclub.com/web/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=60) and open up the high-quality pdf's for jerseys, shorts, arm warmers, jacket, and vest (we will add long jersey design later, but the arms will be similar to the jacket). At this point, we can make relatively small design changes, so your responses in this thread might guide us for any final tweaks.
Special thanks to Kit Committee Chair Anthony Smith and members Robert Abraham, Jeff Baxter, Rex Burrows, Ursula Cunneen, Nerius Landys, Lou Medina, Karl Rudnick, and Dolores Wells. Anthony especially did lots of leg work back and forth with the Zoca graphic design artist.
The plan is for a fit kit night at our primary sponsor, Revolution Bike Shop. Look for an eblast from Lou soon with more details. {Edit} Date is set for Wed, Feb 20, 6pm.
It looks terrific.
Fantastic job!!
Looks great but I will miss the larger yellow portions, oh well. Thank all of you for your time and hard work!!
We might need a second session for fits since, I imagine, Valentines Day might be difficult to make for a few.
The Valentines Day date was tentative, and we all agree with you Anthony that it will leave many out. It looks like we will change it to the following week. Stay tuned....
I need motivation for tomorrow, can we have the fitting at the top of Highland valley, please!!!! Can you hear me whining yet? No, well you will tomorrow! :D
Pretty Cool looking.
We'll like all the white on hot days. :-)

Looks good. Good work gang !

My 2 cents: Dark blue on the inside of the collar will not show the yuck and stain as fast and leave the yellow for the outside of the collar. Make the yellow swish on the back side of the left jersey sleeve (car side) much bolder maybe two swishes wide and the yellow would swing up and tie into the yellow collar adding a little safety and a little more yellow. Left rear leg of the shorts (car side) could use the same where you have yellow already and that way shorts and jersey carry the same theme... I heard you may have been looking for a bit more yellow and this suggestion has a little safety twist to it, so there are my 2 cents worth, thank you all for the great work done I can't wait to wear some club anything. I joined days after your last order went in, feels like years but really good years! Brian
Fit Kit night is on at Revokution for 6pm, Wed, Feb 20. You'll want to make it as ZOCA sizes may differ slightly From Voler. Revolution will also be offering special discounts that night, which is a monthly feature of the shop. if you look at our updated Sponsors page (http://northcountycycleclub.com/web/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=57), you'll notice that NCCC members get 15% off EVERYTHING and they match ANY advertised price.
Does anyone know if Revolution (or any local shop) carries clothing made by Zoca? That I'm working until 5:30 or 6 that night, as well as I currently do not drive, it's highly unlikely I can make it to the fit party.
Revolution pretty much only carries Zoca. LOTS of stuff to try on. I have gone there earlier to try on sizes. We will make sure there will be samples on hand after Thursday, as I'm sure there are others, for one reason or another, who cannot make it. However, it will be most efficient for everyone to do their best to get their sizing figured out on Feb. 20.
Hi,
Appreciate the effort and great job done by everyone on the kit committee. I just wanted to say that I agree with all of Brian's input on the design, strictly from a visibility and safety viewpoint, and he's also probably right about the grime issue with the yellow on the inside of the neckline.

Awesome job by the KIT COMMITTEE. And good work Anthony herding the cats. The kit looks great.
