Title: Kelly won't be riding Saturday
Post by: Paul Nevins on February 21, 2013, 11:04:05 AM
I was riding around last  Tuesday, (Feb. 12) and after stopping by to see Dan Phillips at Bussey's Auto in O'side( to pump him up for the Saturday ride), I rode out to Bonsall. When there, I was promptly dispatched from the rear by a white Tacoma pick-up.

I was taken to Fallbrook Hospital ER, where I languished around for hours. Got the normal X-Rays, blood work, etc. and also a CATSCAN!
I got a handful of busted body parts, especially on the right side.

I'm home now; trying to type with 1 finger(like Jimbo does) and crawling around like Dr. Dan. hehe.
Guess Alan & I should start a bog now?

I would have attached more graphic body-part pictures, but didn't want Judy to feel ill!

You all take care and don't send old Valentine Day candy!

Dear Kelly,

So sorry to hear of your incident. Dang girl, that truck is a good 3,100 lbs plus.  Sending well wishes for your recovery. Arnica gel works wonders on bruises and they even have homeopathic tablets for healing (Sprouts).  Sure helped me when I crashed.

Best Regards,

Update by Kelly, received this email today:
'I'm recovering in due order.
Up on crutches now and already chucked one of the finger splints and modified a second one.'
Don't count on Kelky being any slower upon his return. Train hard 'cause he'll be rested up and on fire when he's back.
