It's time once again. Many have been asking me about this - when, where, will it happen? Yes! I have routes planned and will have this condensed down. In the past, Jeff would do one route a month. I feel this isn't needed, and I also want to try and get to the century route earlier than we have in the past. Most of you are capable, so if you have the desire to ride a century, please join up and do these rides to prepare. My plan is to have 50, 60, and 75~ish mile training routes. For March, there will be two routes. They are not much different from anything we've already ridden. For the actual century, I plan to have two, with the first (and best) route sometime in May. This will most likely be the route out to Santa Ysabel that we did last year, or possibly and out & back to Hemet via Temecula wine country that will start in Bonsall. There will be a second century ride planned for June that will be a basic out & back to San Juan Capistrano.
All club members are welcome to join. If the long riders wish to join in on the training rides, please understand that the pace will probably be slower than you normally ride at, but that riding with the group, helping on the front, and getting to know more of your mates would be great. I ask that all of the regular riders planning to ride one of the century rides participate in this training series, or at least ride the 60 and 75. I do not doubt that most of you are able to ride the century, but I need to have some rides to ramp up the mileage and know that everyone is in condition. Plus, it's always fun to do something a bit different.

Each year I look forward to the training for the club century. Count me in for some of the training rides, the longer ones, and look for me on the start line of official club century. Robert, thanks for taking the time to plan this out.
