NCCC members who upload their rides to Strava - I'm posting here as I know there are a number of you who use Strava.
Please note that you may be susceptible to theft of your nice bike if you don't have a Privacy Zone set around your house. I double-checked my settings and I actually am OK, but I can't remember whether this was a default setting or whether it was recommended when I first signed up for Strava.
At any rate, please double check your privacy settings, as noted in the email below which recently circulated through the Swami's cycling club.

Hello All,
A friend sent me this message and I'm sharing it with you.
Spread the word: a San Diego detective has 30+ cases on his own of stolen bikes in the RB, Scripps, and PQ area over the last 3 months and its looking like its Strava is the common link. Just in case these guys move into North county, make sure to check your Strava privacy settings and enter in your home address so that it will hide your location. Here’s more info about it at https://strava.zendesk.com/entries/20944416-privacy-settings. Just note that it’ll take you off the Leaderboard on any segments within the privacy zone.
Thank you,
Troy
