All - My Portland trip was cut short a couple days, so I will be back Sunday, August 17 for the Dana Pt. ride, which will start at 8:30 am from Magee Park as usual [not the originally advertised OCRR start].

Hi guys - I thought I'd post in this thread rather than start a new one. I'm the tall guy from Utah who showed up Sunday 9/7's ride. I wanted to say thank you guys **so much** for the great times and showing me around the area - and a killer ride! I had a complete blast. After my front wheel nearly completely de-tensioned on that long descent, John saved my ass with not one but two tubes (the man knows how to ride and be prepared). Thanks again. Also John I lost your contact info - shoot me an email at andre@uintabikes.com - if anyone sees this and sees John (super strong guy on the Colnago lugged carbon frame who is a general contractor who lives in Carlsbal - usually good at remembering everything other than folks names if I have his name wrong!). Please tell him to reach out - I owe him some tubes, bare min!
