Any ideas for Tuesday night after work rides?
Option 1: Continue long-standing ride out of Del Mar Heights
Option 2: Move the ride to an OCRR start
Option 3: Move the ride to a Magee Park start
Option 4: Want to ride but don't like either of the 3 suggested start locations
Option 5: Change to another day (suggest best day in a reply)
Option 6: Drop it altogether
Ever since I joined NCCC about 13 years ago, there has been a Tuesday after work ride, starting at 5:30 or 5:00 out of Del Mar Heights, running only during DST, roughly April thru October. During that time, NCCC has also had parallel rides, one starting at Magee Park which also ran a few years, one starting in Vista, one starting in Escondido. When I was working, I thought it was a great way to decompress and often have dinner afterwards. A couple years ago, with Dan and Sue Crane being the most consistent regulars and Dan mapping out routes, this was a pretty popular ride. Due to health issues, Dan and Sue have not always been available and the rest of us have not been around to make this ride a consistent group of 8 or more riders, like in the old days. It may be that there are less people living or commuting through that area, making it an easy ride to get to after work.
So the purpose of this poll is to find out how to best continue this great way to blow off steam after working your butt off all day. Please respond if you have an opinion.

OCRR either Tuesday or Thurs after work is good for me.
And Karl is right, we've had lots of different weekly rides over all the years of NC3. My favorite was the Faraday Crit, every Tuesday Night. And once that was shut down, the McGee Park to 15th street in Del Mar and back was an amazing training ride, but of course we were doing a lot of century's and doubles as a group.
I hesitated to give an opinion because of my low attendence ( 0 for 2014) for the Tuesday ride. My time is limited for riding so if i'm able to ride, Tuesday evening is my best bet. So if possible, lets keep it going.
I enjoy riding in Valley Center/Bonsall after work. The scenery is beautiful and there's not a lot traffic. I understand this location may not convenient for most riders.
There was no overhelming winner in this poll, although an OCRR start was mentioned by more than one. Let's go for OCRR at 5:30! I'm updating the website tonight, having just returned to San Diego, so I'll post it and see how it goes. Lots of good options for eating afterwards and can head in the Bonsall / VC direction most of the time. Rider's choice for routes. I have it on my schedule, so let's see who shows up in June.

My work schedule has shifted (hopefully for the summer) so I will be there on Tuesday nights!!
