We wanted to let our Left Coast friends know that we survived the tornado that hit downtown Atlanta on Friday night. We?re about 7 miles North of downtown, so we missed most of the excitement?thank goodness! We had intense lightening and thunder in our area, but didn?t learn about the tornado until Saturday morning. Since it was too wet to ride that day, we took the train downtown and were amazed at the devastation. Television images can?t capture the awesome destruction.
