Hello NCCC
Well now that you have the spankin' new kits (And if I don't say so myself they are pretty cool looking.) you're gonna needs some official NCCC socks!!! Now I've seen some of you members sporting some pretty wild socks while on a ride with your NCCC kit. And that's not a bad thing personal statement and all. But for more formal occasions, like official club rides, you need to wear your Sunday best. And these socks are just the ticket. And cheap too. You can wear them to work just so you know that NCCC is with you at all times. You can even wear them to bed on the upcoming cold and wet El Nino nights. Hey. Buy two pair and give one to your partner then have a party!! Leave those socks on though...
The socks are made by Sock Guy and seem to last forever as long as you get a pedicure once in awhile. They are paid for with club membership money. So all the money that they sell for goes right back into the club for parties and such. I've attached a picture. My apologies for the bad color. But in person they do look pretty cool. They work with the older kits too. The sizes are Small/Medium or Large/Extra Large.
I will be at OCRR this Saturday, October 3rd before the club ride with a bunch of them on hand. They are $8.00 a pair. Or $15.00 for two pair.
Bring some money. Steal some money. Or beg for an advance in your allowance to buy these socks. You know you want to.
