Title: Bikes for Kids - Miller Elementary School Bike Build Saturday December 5th 9:00
Post by: karlos on December 01, 2015, 02:32:04 PM
NCCC folks - I know we've got rides planned for this Saturday, as well as our Holiday party, but if you get a kick out of putting smiles on a bunch of needy kids this Holiday Season, consider helping put a mess of bikes together. I was contacted by Alfredo Velasco, former NCCC member who moved north and still rides with us when visiting. I'm copying a request to me to publicize to our club.
Cheers - Karl
QuoteHello Bike Builders,

Thank you for bringing smiles to 230 beautiful faces!  Yep - that's right,  230 bikes for 230 great kiddos!

Bring your friends and tools, the more the merrier!!  The bikes are a surprise - so don't mention it to anyone who may know or have a attending student at Miller.  Thank you!

If you have an electric air compressor please bring it with you - Thanks

Here are the details:

Saturday - December 5th @ 9 a.m.

Miller Elementary School
4343 Shields Street
San Diego, CA

The gates will be open to the parking lot and we will be building outside - so bring some sunglasses!

Thank you so much for your help and support!

See you there -
