The past few years, the SD County Bike Coalition has provided free bike valet parking to the Farmers PGA Tournament at Torrey Pines. If you like watching live golf, this is by far the best way to get in, avoiding traffic and offsite parking, as well as getting a nice bike ride in down the coast and up to Torrey Pines. Parking your bike (for free) triggers a $10 donation from Farmers Insurance to your SD County Bike Coalition for every bike checked into the parking area. It is manned and secure. I have ridden my bike there for years as the best way to get into the event, even risking chaining my bike to the fence in the old days before the Coalition provided this cool service.
