Look for my Orange Honda Fit Hatchback. I'll be there with my wife ready to go at 5:30pm without a trailer full of kids, so be ready for a good 20-25 mile ride in the Oceanside/Vista/Carlsbad areas. From time to time I will also be there on Thursdays at 5:30pm if you'd like a 2nd work out during the week. Hi Roger,
Do you think it would make sense to combine the Vista and Escondido ride somehow? We are very close to each other and I just started the Escondido ride this week leaving from Home Depot near the 78 and I-15 (tuesday and 5:30).

I tried making the ride to Escondido this Tuesday, left East Oceanside at 4:50pm and didn't get to Home Depot till 5:45pm. Traffic was a bear on the 78 and on the 15 towards Escondido. Also, my wife and I have two babies we hate leaving alone, so it makes more sence for us to ride from the Costco parking lot. Also, it's another excuse to shop at Costco for things we might need for the week. I'm hoping we get a few other folks in the Oceanside/Vista/Carlsbad area to come out. We can make plans to join both rides together from time to time and ride out of Restaurant row if you like.
By the way, I'll be riding also on Thursdays from time to time from the Vista Costco parking lot if anyone else wants to join me.

I won't be able to make today's ride 08Jul08 due to some business I need to take care off. My wife won't be there either as she suffered a surfing injury and can't ride a bike for a few weeks. I'll be there the following week at the Costco Parking lot for some hills :)
