I am organizing a Monday, September 5th, Labor Day ride out of Kit Carson Park rolling at 8:00 AM. The pace will be moderate with rolling averages up to 20MPH and a finishing average approximately 15MPH. Not to fast, not to slow, just right.
There will be NO CUE sheets (unless I make time and get motivated) , it's a new route with new roads, lots of turns and opportunity for people to get lost and approximately 70 miles with plenty of options to cut it short so you can make it home in time for your BBQ's.
This is not a club sanctioned ride, just a guy looking to ride with friends on Labor Day. The more the merrier.

Again, we roll at 8:00............and head south......
And to add a little interest, the section from miles 24-28 should be totally new. If any of you old MTB'ers used to ride the Del Mar Mesa single-track, this will bring back some memories. The paved roads through there now are smooth and fabulous. Great views! The drop-down connection to Carmel Country is the last remnant of the old Shaw Ridge Rd.
Thanks, Sean!

Disclaimer TWO: I may or may not have cue sheets.
Disclaimer Three: This is not a club sanctioned ride.
Disclaimer Four: Plenty of options to cut it short.
Disclaimer Five: The pace will be moderate with rolling averages up to 20MPH and a finishing average approximately 15MPH
Hope to see you there..............Happy Thanksgiving.
