Title: Sunday Long Ride
Post by: Nigel Rodgers on May 06, 2017, 05:54:00 PM
Here is the National Weather service forecast for tomorrow.
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 61. Southwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
A few of us regular Sunday riders got our fill of rain today. Will look at the radar in the morning and post around 6:30 am.

Here is the forecast for San Marcos this morning.

I will not be driving to San Marcos this morning for the  Nate Harrison ride. Not sure if anyone will be at OCRR at 8:30
See You Next Week

I did a short dry ride yesterday and have sorely missed NCCC rides this past month, away in Simsbury, CT and Minneapolis. I'll have my rain bike and gear at OCRR. We can still bail and just have a nice breakfast somewhere. Rain is tolerable, but thunderstorms NOT.

Oops. Just watched the news and will stay out of this stuff. Good thing Mt Baldy is next weekend. Snow there today! Have a cozy indoor Sunday.
