It is time again to select new members for the NCCC Board.
This note is a call for Candidates that would like to volunteer for serving on the NCCC Board. The NCCC Bylaws call for a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 9 Board members, including the 4 offices of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The term is for two years. You can nominate an individual that you feel would fit in any of the officer positions or as a general “At Large†member â€" but please ask them first. Or you can nominate yourself 8).
Note that all 4 NCCC current Officers will be retiring in 2019. So thanks to them for years of service and we will have a complete turnover at the top. Click here (http://northcountycycleclub.com/web/index.php/members-132/club-information) to view the current NCCC Board.
Please mail your candidate nomination(s) to current NCCC President Peg Demery at margareth.demery@gmail.com, indicating an officer preference or simply "At Large." If all the officer positions are not filled by nomination, the new Board will vote for officer positions at the March Board meeting.
Nominations will close January 16, 2019.
Please talk it up the next couple weeks and send in your nominations to President Peg!
To all candidates: if you have a statement you would like to make, it will be added to the upcoming ballot. Since not everyone in the club knows everybody else, it would be a great way to introduce yourself and promote your election.
