Starting next Tuesday, September 8, 2020, SANDAG crews will be performing pavement repairs along a one-mile trail section of the Inland Rail Trail between North Pacific Street and Cherimoya Drive in the City of San Marcos. This section of the bikeway will be closed to accommodate the repairs including reconstruction, rehab, and repaving of various sections in the trail. Work on this section of the Inland Rail Trail will last several months and is anticipated to be complete in late 2020. :(
This is the section that starts just west of Las Posas.
Wasn't this also closed for the same last year? And wasn't it only opened the year before that? Closed for "repairs" or "job security"?
