All NCCC members can get some good tips for riding in groups from this free course at at https://cyclingsavvy.org/online-bicycle-education (https://cyclingsavvy.org/online-bicycle-education). Many of you have graduated from the Smart Cycling program, but there was little emphasis on riding in groups. The Club Rider Essentials focuses on group riding only. It took Sean a half hour to work through it and earn his diploma. There are also tips for ride leaders.
Long Roadie Frank Wheeler took the course. When asked how long it took, he replied:
"Just about 30 minutes. Learned a few things and always good to get reminders on stuff you know.
Feel like as a club we still have to do better on left hand turns... Think everyone should watch this."
Just took it as well. I will pass this along to our Saturday Clipper's riders.
