So, now that Daylight Saving Time has begun does anyone want to start the Tuesday evening ride again?
We usually meet at the Del Mar Highlands shopping center in the lower (western-most) parking lot in front of IHOP, the surf/skate store, and Sushi-Ya. Typical meeting time is 5:30 p.m. for rides into Rancho Santa Fe, but other routes come up if anyone has a request or a desire to go in a different direction.
The evening light is still pretty short. At the end of last season we were meeting at 5:00 p.m. to get in a bit more riding. Does that sound advisable for the first few weeks?
Is anyone interested in starting up this season? 5:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m.? March 23rd? March 30th?

The Tuesday night ride announcement was going into the April update of the website, first ride to be April 6, which was the tradition DST switch. The last couple years, with the March DST switch, we started a couple of rides in March, but we had to sneak in early to stay in daylight - still, they were good rides. Anyone who wants to start early, just put your druthers here, and I'm sure there will be a turnout.

April 6 at 5:30 is the first ride of season, Del Mar Highlands. East on Del Mar Heights from I5. Turn right on El Camino Real. Enter plaza on southeast corner. Meet in the parking lot by Kinko's and IHOP.
