Put in a bike lane while you're at it so cyclists don't get killed on the southbound stretch between La Costa and Encinitas!

See the post about the latest meeting with Traffic Engineer.. May get a bike lane North bound.. Take the lane southbound for now.   take the FULL slow lane (ride toward the center of the lane)  so as not to get doored, to ride predictably in a straight line without weaving, and, so that cars don't try to fit in the same lane when you are hanging out too far to the right of the lane.  There is not enough room in the substandard lane to share the lane with cars. That is what the passing lane is for.
