Is the ride cancelled or still on?

I don't think rides are ever officially cancelled the night before based on weather predictions. If it is raining or the roads are wet in the AM all bets are off. Let's hope the rain will miss us. Doesn't look like it!
How many raindrops does it take to scare a SoCal rider off the road? I was surprised not to find a least a couple of other adventurers out there this morning. Got a really nice ride in, 8:30-11:30, with no rain, just wet roads for the first 45 min. Of course, if I hadn't been riding my '83 Pinarello rain cruiser and decked out head to toe in GoreTex, it probably would have poured for 3 hours. I'm hoping for some company next time.

I headed to the coast today when there was a lull in the rain (about 11AM) Right as I headed home it started pouring. I got to ride 15 miles in the rain. The rest of the weekend will be spent cleaning the bike (and myself) up. Should have rode with Karl !
