Rode with the fenders for the first time this morning.  It's such a joy to be able to go through puddles and not worry.  I don't think they slow me down on the flats, but it does add a pound or two to the weight of the bike.  Hopefully I'll be able to stay with Jim going up Palomar on Saturday.
