Title: AYH Christmas Trip
Post by: Nerius Landys on November 30, 2011, 12:09:50 PM
FYI, if you have never done it or heard about it info is here: http://sandiegohostels.org/christmas-bike-ride.php

I've done it about 5 times in the past, and am probably going to do it again this year.

Here is another ride. It says its at a fast pace "up to 35 mph on the flat sections". i'm not there yet, but I would probably attempt it in a couple years.

That New Years Day PCH ride looks interesting although it is too fast for me as well.   35 mph?

I've had to tell the legs to shut up when John, Tony, Anthony, or Nerius would move the pace up to 28-30 mph.  I don't think they would listen when it went to 35 mph.

There's a New Year's Day century in San Diego too.
It used to start from Sorrento Valley Park And Ride many years ago, not sure where it starts now.
It's a "racer" ride too.  Quite fast.
