Hey,  Greg
These sound really interesting and a great price. Are the rims really 27 mm wide instead of the more standard 19mm? My HED rims are 23mm wide, allowing me to run at lower tire pressure - 85psi front and 90psi rear. They ride really smooth and corner especially well at that tire pressure. Are you also supposed to run lower tire pressure with these rims?

Hey Karl the width is about 18 to 19mm.  the 27mm listed, refers to the profile of the rim  So, the rims can handle high pressure.  If you're looking for better handling, lower rolling resistance, I would suggest running a 25c tire instead of a 23C.  I also have, a boxed set of Superlites at 1500 grams for $300.00.  The major difference between Corsa Lite and the Superlite is the Lighter Rear hub, with a lower bearing count, and the superlite rim is welded together instead of cleated with the Lite.  The Other Vuelta Wheels are the Corsa Race, #$430.00) and around 1350 grams, and the Team V, ($370.00), which is about 1470grams.

I actually prefer both the wider 23mm (inside dimension) rim and a 25c tire - super smooth, low rollng resistance, and great cornering without needing higher pressure.
