June Sunday ride lead help

I will be out of town the last couple weeks in June and am looking for Sunday ride lead volunteer(s) for June 21 and June 28. I have all the June rides posted, so you could lead the rides I have posted and I can provide route slips ... OR choose / create your own favorite ride to lead. Help is much appreciated.

Also, I have been leading Sunday rides since 2007. I actually kind of enjoy it, but family duties will require my missing about 3 consecutive Sundays at least four times a year. I don't like abandoning the Sunday ride that much and leaning on people to fill in, so if someone else would like to take over Sundays, please let me know. Like the Sat Roadies rides, new ride leaders always provide new ideas / routes, and I think it invigorates the rides and ridership, as we've seen on the Sat rides since Jim Hutchings and Anthony Scozzari have taken turns as leaders of the Long ride and Robert Abraham has taken over the Regular ride (and Jeff Gross before that if you go back that far  ;)). If you're interested you can reply here, or to rudnick.cooper@gmail.com or just call to chat at 858-481-7910. [A side note is that the NCCC Board only approves ride leaders who have graduated from the Bicycle Traffic Skills class]

Thanks - Karl

Thanks to Tony and Nigel for helping out with the June 21, 28 Sunday rides. Attached are route slips:

June 21 (Tony) Couser-Rice backwards
June 28 (Nigel) Karl Strauss loop

The Sunday, July 5 ride will be posted later. If anyone would like to lead it, suggest your favorite ride here or in an email to me and I'll pencil it in. Else, I'll add something that doesn't conflict with the July 4 Sat ride.

Have some great rides the next 3 weeks!

I was riding Elfin Forest on Sunday, 6/21 and noticed a sign stating Elfin Forest Rd would be closed from San Elijo to Fortuna del Este on 6/28.  Paul
