Heya folks,

Just a quickie looking for advice - I'm a keen cyclist visiting friends over in Oceanside this November from England. I'd very much like to join your club on a few rides if possible as a visitor if OK? I'm over mid November for just shy of two weeks.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers,

Andy

Hi Andy
November is a perfect time to cycle here in Sothern California.  Most of our favorite routes are on tap for that month due to the cooler weather in the mountains  and deserts.
North  County  Cycle Club has 2 maybe 3 (Someone correct me if im wrong) different ability level groups leaving Resutrant Row in  San Marcos on  Saturday  morning's at 8am. On Sunday there is another group that's leaves different locations as well as Restaurant  Row at 8:30 . The long rides group from Saturday  and Sundays averages 15 to 17 miles per hour.
I lead the Sunday Rides.
Feel free to contact me any time with any questions.

Ta for reply Nigel. I don't really mind what distance I do or how lumpy the route, but not particularly bothered about going at break-neck speed - so a relaxed group would suit.

I'm bringing my bike across with me so look forward to bacon baps and latte in November (priorities!). I'll endeavour to contact again a bit closer to time!

Thanks again.

Look also at NCCC / Cruisers web site for more relaxed rides in November; normally leaves San Marcos Restaurant Row at 0830 on Saturdays and Wednesdays but check web site.

Ta information - will check website again bit closer to the time in November 👍🏽

Sincere Regards - Andy
