Keep your kit shiny fresh!

How do you keep your cycling clothes in tip top shape? Most manufactures have washing instructions, but are generally very unclear on the types of detergents one should use. A few companies, such Rapha and Assos, make their own detergents. I have tried these, and they work well enough, but are over priced and difficult to come by. In the old days, I was told to use Woolite. Later I learned that's one of the worst things to wash your kit with. Most general purpose laundry soaps are not good either, as they tend to leave a residue and inhibit the wicking properties of synthetics. For the past several years I have been using a product made by Granger called "Active Wash". It is fantastic stuff, works very well, and is even good for washing my wool stuff. I highly recommend it.

Great recommendation, Robert. When I followed your link and tried to order I got, "On Fabsil, delivery restricted to mainland UK only." Where do you purchase the stuff?
Answer (should have googled) - $8.99/bottle(750 ml, about 25 washes) at Amazon.
Thanks - Karl

Sorry Karl, I forgot to mention that. Yes, I do buy it on Amazon. I linked to the companie's home page because it has the best information.
