Hello all,

To catch anyone up that missed previous e-mails, Shawn Harrison, Marine, husband, triathlete, and friend, was fatally hit by a pickup truck this past Saturday while on a training ride at W. Laic and 395.  The vehicle failed to stop while traveling east on W. Laic, as Shawn traveled north on 395.

Please join us this Saturday morning, June 16th to celebrate Shawn's life and enjoy one of his favorite activities... cycling.

The will be two options for the ride, one leaving from Carlsbad and the other from Bonsall near San Luis Rey Downs.     We will all climb West Lilac to 395, which is the corner of the incident.  We plan to erect a road side tribute and have a moment of silence.  Chris Harrison, Shawn?s wife and other friends and family will also join us here.     From there, please enjoy your ride back home or ride on to complete your workout.

Whether you knew Shawn or not, and would like celebrate his life with us, we?d appreciate you joining us.
