Bridge from Pacific St to O'side Harbor [now open]

Jeff,
Yesterday I saw that the detour signs are still up on Pacific Street where it crosses the river to Oceanside Harbor so there is not an easy way to get over to the harbor.   I see that the 13Sep2008 Saturday Regular ride is headed up that way and has a STOP at the Harbor Restrooms at mile 16.
An option is to skip the harbor.  There is a small convince store at the corner of Surfrider and Cleveland that we can stop at.  I am not sure if there are public restrooms there.  There is a nice new park at the  College Ave end of the SLR bike path with brand new restrooms and water, mile 25.

The SLR bike path from Clevland/Neptune to College Ave is in great shape and fast.

I just ran across this artice in the North County Times.  I will ride my bike down there this afternoon to check it out myself, and report back.
