The Bike 4 Mike event was a huge sucess and people are still emailing and raving about it. We exceeded our number of riders, spin bike participants and our fund rasing goals, the day was fantsatic. This was the first ever bike event hosted at the Del Mar fairgrounds and we have already booked next years event. The comments and emails have been just amasing, so many of the 25 and 50 mile riders came back and said it was one of, if not THE best event they have ever ridden! Wow, we were blow away but the enthusiasm of every one. The 10 mile beach cruisers had a ball and added a big party atmosphere to the day. My friend Scott Tinley summed up the event the best " Bike 4 Mike was nothing short of spectactular". We had a great showing from the Ride Cycle racing team, Swamis, Celo Pacific and even a team from Chicago called Steps fo Doug. We had riders come in from New Jersey, Hawaii, L.A and Northern Cal. Unfortunatly no one from North County Cycle Club rode or supported the cause. Next years ride is November 3rd and will be bigger and better. Mark your event calendars and plan on a great event, food and fun.
