Updates on John Wellwood - NCCC President

Hello All,

Just want to update you on John's shoulder surgery that took place this morning at 7 a.m. He had two torn tendons in his right shoulder that had to be repaired.  Surgery went well. I picked him up from the hospital this afternoon and he was in good spirits.  Just got of the phone with him at 6:30 p.m. to check in. He had a good rest, just finished dinner and is starting to have a little feeling in his fingers. I will be on call in case he needs anything during the evening.  Will keep you up-to-date on his progress.

Hello All,

John is doing well. I have been stopping by to see him and working with him on the physical therapy requirements that need to be done twice daily from home.  Professional PT won't start until March 20, 2013.  John sends greetings to all and misses the group.  Hopes to be driving in the next week or so and will give us the send off on our Saturday rides.
