Sunday Oct 26 "John's Ride"

Just an FYI that on Sunday Oct 26th a Triathlon is being held in Oceanside. Pacific Street will be closed from 6am to 12n.

Since this is on my beat, I've already talked to Frank Quan, and I hope he will help guide the group from Magee Park to the San Luis Rey bike path. We just won't be able to use Pacific, and so 101 is the most likely route. I will also be out of town in Albuquerque this weekend, so either John (his namesake ride) or Tony & Diana will be in charge. John will be doing the Oceanside Borrego Double staff ride on Saturday, so he'll probably be too beat to show up on Sunday. However, that has happened before, post-double!

Thanks for the alert, Tom. This will help everyone know. If I was better plugged in to these events, this wouldn't happen, and I'm batting a pretty low percentage for Magee Park starts
