The Kit Committee has boiled down basic style choices to two variants. Weigh in by participating in the poll with your choice. If you don't cast a vote, you can't complain about the choice  ;)

These kit designs are all based on Mike Santoro's excellent design work years ago.  During prototyping, he floated to me the idea of "North County Cycles" with the "NCC" abbreviation.  I said, 'meh', we don't want to be confused with a motorcycle club, but agreed that "NCCC" seemed too lengthy, so I got in touch with my inner word geek, and said, "I got it.  NC3", and the rest is club history!  Some other time, I'll recount the story of how I thought up the piano tie.

The poll is locked. Option A wins (sorry, Daniel  :'(). You should have received an email with a link to the Online Store. Since this Forum is public, we don't publish that link here as the order is only for active NCCC members.

Went to the online store, no pink kit! I thought we were getting a pink option.

Sorry, not sure where you heard this. Pink kits aren't an option on this order.

There was talk of a pink kit. I know that some members requested this. I know that in the past, there were a few editions of the kit done in an alternative pink color scheme. However, for the time being, there will be no pink kit offered. We are trying to have a unifying kit design. Yes it's a sharp kit, but pink is not the club color scheme. Later this year a group will convene to begin looking at a total redesign, as well as other clothing sources. Perhaps we might revisit the idea of a pink kit at that time.
