On Saturday, August 16th, the Roadies will ride with NCCC member Paul Hoffmann, who recently contracted ALS. Like some of you, I've had the pleasure of knowing Paul for many cycling years. We welcome all who desire to support Paul on this slower, more thoughtful ride, according to Paul's pace. The route and deets will be posted shortly on NCCC's website. We certainly hope he will return to San Diego soon and ride again with us.

Thanks Steve.  Much appreciated. I look forward to seeing everyone. And for all those times I zipped up the hill or made a big deal about climbing in my big gear, you have my permission to enjoy my bringing up the rear on climbs :-). Also, one of the first things I did when I found out I was diagnosed was to look for an ALS charity ride. I found one in Napa on Sep 27 and I will be doing a 46 mile ride (hopefully, so far I can still do that). If you're interested and able to support my ride with a donation, I would very much appreciate that as well. I've done many rides to raise money for cancer, MS and Parkinson's, but this time it's a little more personal and also unfortunately could be my last one. So I'm trying extra hard to make an impact.  Thanks.
