Borrego long rides April 10-11 cancelled

The Sat and Sunday, April 10 & 11, long rides will start in Borrego Springs.
Saturday's ride is up Montezuma , Scissor's crossing, Yucca Pass - about 60 miles.
Sunday's ride is to the Salton Sea and back, also about 60 miles.
We're posting an early notice here as we were not able to do this in March due to a lack of rooms. If you plan to do these rides, you'll want to book as soon as possible. There are no rooms reserved as a group, and there are a number of places to stay. Everyone is on their own to find lodging. It  isn't required to ride both days (nor is it required to book rooms). If you can only make one day, please come out for a ride in (and above) the desert.

For some reason, Borrego Springs is a HOT cycling mecca in the Spring~!
Karl is correct in that it's hard to get a reasonable priced room out there during that time!

We'll be 4 deep in the econo? Oasis for the Borrego 600 on the 9-11th of April. Bummer!
