Just found out the hip is broken. I guess, I'll be off the bike. 

So sorry to hear that Jeff!!  I guess your art will benefit while you're off the bike.

Jeff, Soooo sorry for your crash and hip. Bummer, you will be missed. Fortunately, the group pulled together to help and there was a nurse right on the corner. Thanks to all for helping. Jeff, please keep us updated on your speedy recovery.

Ahh Jeff, That is terrible news.  Any surgery needed?

It wasn't even that cool of a crash - no flips, somersaults, or team cars involved.  Just a really, really hard slide out.

You might wear yellow spandex on the weekends but you are one tough SOB.  Mucho respecto amigo.

So sorry Jeff! Heal up quickly. I had a little drama on the road too although nothing like yours. Somehow, on the way back, I lost my car keys and pouch with license, credit card, etc. I called Karl, who picked me up and in tracing my route backwards, he spotted my stuff laying on the side of the road. It was a freaking miracle! It's nice to be around great people. Get well soon....
