Hey - check out this poll thing that Karl has provided us with - and a perfect opportunity to use it! Please only vote if you'll be joining us on the 1st for some pie. Karl, I don't know about a third slice in Escondido, but On the Border is right down the road and has outdoor seating (better odor-wise)!

8:00 seems good.  Need to avoid such a long break in Santa Ysabel this time though.

7:30 is perfect. The sun is shining, birds are chirping, not many cars on the road, Sean is awake and can most definitely roll onto his bike at this respectable hour, so 7:30 sounds good to me.  Plus, all he has to do is coast down the hill from his house to Kit Carson, so no excuses.

So far, only one vote has been cast! Opinions are fine, but cast your vote!

Ok, I am missing something here.  How do you vote?  Can't locate any "buttons."

Bill,

Awesome idea, I had not thought of sleeping in my kit, but I like it. I may take it a step further and wear my kit to dinner Saturday night before the pie ride to save even more time. Bill, what goes best, black or brown dress shoes with the NCCC kit? And will the neon green helmet clash with my navy blue sport coat? It will be nice to have three pockets in my jersey to keep the leftovers.

Bill, might I suggest that you start a fashion blog here on the NCCC website. Clearly anyone wearing a sporty tartan jersey has the taste of a runway model during fashion week. We could all benefit from your fashion prowess, please don't keep it to yourself.

Here is some irony, unlike the crazy german, sasquatch who can't figure out how to click the mouse in the little circle next to each starting time option, I did figure out how to vote but, my attendance for the pie ride is uncertain so, I refrain from voting. And frankly, is not crazy and german redundant?

Speaking of redundant crazy german sasquatch bigfoots, who put her in charge of the morning cheer. Sun shining and birds chirping, sounds more like the Kit Carson promotions committee. Or she had one to many mimosas at Burlap this morning.

And at the risk of agreeing with a redundant crazy german sasquatch bigfoot, If I were to attend the ride, the earlier, the better.

Scroll to the top of the post. Bill has 3 radio buttons. Push the button on the left next to either 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. After you will vote, you can see the current totals (else knowing how everyone is voting first, might sway your vote  :))

Sean, why are you a maybe?

Sean, brown shoes with blue kit/navy coat!

Sean, yes the dayglow helmet does go with semi formal blue attire.

Sean, agree with the german sasquatch about start time, are you crazy!  Earlier is rarely better, besides no show next week and we're in daylights savings time!

Sean, the german isn't referencing morning cheer with birds chirping.......one word........breakfast!

Sean, I expect to see you on Sunday.  I need a misery partner up NON-GRANDE and then Highlands!

First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Brennan for his support with a 7:30 start time.  Glad to know he has some sense of logical thought.  And coasting down the hill from his house to the start won't be any warmer at 8 anyway.  Anthony, you need to learn from Sean and recognize that 7:30 is the smarter and wiser choice.  I know you can make it.

You all must have different computers than me because I have yet to see any little buttons to the left of the times.  Nothing shows up.  Karl, does it have anything to do with Mozilla?  Anyway, doesn't really matter since you all know my opinion.

Firefox is the best browser for our website. Go ALL The way to the top BF, I mean Ursula, before Bill's first post, to see the poll.
web guy

Karl you are my hero - tongue-in-cheek tech god!

Woohoo 8 o'clock!  I'm there, bra!

Anthony you are very inquisitive about my private life but my uncertainty regarding the Pie/Blizzard ride revolves around a potential late night of drinking with my brother and riding with a hangover. Now you may ask why not be more like Wade and have mimosas and drink during the day but the first step is admitting you have a problem.

Wow, good call on the brown shoes with the NCCC kit. You have a knack for this fashion thing, might I suggest you organize a NCCC make over for the men of the club. And since you have a flair for fashion you might consider creating the next NCCC kit. I vote Anthony, anyone else?

And listen….are you crazy NOT agreeing with the Redundant Crazy German Sasquatch Bigfoot (RCGSB). Really who is taking the risk here, I think I am the sane-er one. Maybe it is just my fear of bodily harm from the RCGSB. I have been struck by the mythical creature on prior rides and it is something you do not forget. Fear is a wonderful motivator. So I must agree with BF/Ursula/RCGSB and I stand on the earlier is better.

Karl, nice job on trying to coach the RCGSB on how to vote. At least 7 people figured out how to hit the little buttons next to the start times. Maybe there should be test before we allow people into the club. Questions like which fork do you eat the salad with, can you wear a neon green helmet with a tux, and do you know how to click a computer mouse in a little circle.

What is this "AM showers" crap I see in the forecast for Sunday?
Do I need to put my fenders on again?

Oh yeah, the Pie Ride wouldn't be complete without a little bad weather.  Remember last time?

According to weather.com, the chance of precipitation goes to zero after dawn, so we should be okay, especially with our prudent start time.  http://www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/USCA0833?begHour=23&begDay=91#Sun,%20Apr%201 Glad to see that we finally had a dissenting vote!

Nerius, I think that Tony would like you to wear your "special" tights - they seemed to give him special motivation to hold onto your wheel last  time.
