Just as an FYI the Oceanside 70.3 Ironman is on Saturday and most of the streets along Pacific Street will be closed even to bicycles. Additionally, the Carlsbad 5000 is on Sunday  and Carlsbad Blvd will be closed.   

Thanks, Tom - I'm out of town this weekend for John's ride this Sunday. If it is impossible to start at Magee Park, perhaps the start should be from the parking lot at Oceanside Harbor. Does that sound like a plan?

Thanks, Tom. I'm in the middle of moving, wow did I forget how exhausting it is, and didn't need figuring out a new route added to my list but I'll figure something out.
