As long as we're watching weekend weather, Sunday riders have probably already noticed a possibility of showers on Sunday. I will definitely be ready in Fallbrook at 8:30 Sunday, even if it requires my rain bike w/fenders and rain gear (panniers to carry people's stuff, too, if needed). I'm hoping it's a false alarm. If it's really pouring we can find a warm, dry place for breakfast. The only possible route change if wet but ridable would be to leave out the Puerto del Mondo part as we need to traverse about 100 yards unpaved by the lily pond at the top and I've never even tried it in the mud. The rest of the De Luz route manages to avoid the traditional low spots that often flooded in the past. The current forecast also show less possibility of rain after 10 am.

Remember, my most memorable rides with the club all involve foul weather  ;)

OK - my phone weather app was wrong last night. Weather looks GREAT for Sunday.Should be 50-65 degrees all day, a little chilly at the start.
See you out there - Karl
