“SPECIAL RIDE” August 28th -"9th Annual Bike the Bay" which takes place on Sunday 28th August.

The group will meet and park for free in Old Town at Caltrans corner of Juan and Taylor and then ride Pacific Highway to the Marina Park start behind the convention center (5.5 miles). Departing at 7:00 am.

I'm also going to be doing this ride (and sorry to miss Nigel's Wohlford ride) as this is the SD County Bike Coalition's primary fundraiser that gives them the funds for the advocacy work that they do. I'll be riding from Solana Beach about 5am if anyone else is doing this and not going down to Old Town to hook up with Norval's group. I also signed up for the VIP add-on for the food and beer garden.

This should be an experience, going over the Coronado Bridge with 3000+ other cyclists.

Looking forward to seeing any other NCCC folks who are going for this option.
