For a change of pace, join in for the fun Mule Hill Permanent training this Saturday, Feb. 4.
This is a 117K/73mi shorty route from Lake Hodges to Mesa Grande and return trip.
We'll pedal by the buffalo grassland, nudie pools and indian village.
Also included are the Mule Hill Trail and Black Canyon Road historic bridge.

Start is at the marked trailhead off Sunset Dr. near Lake Hodges at 08:00 sharp.

Weather forecast  is "perfect".
We'll take several stops for refuel and "cycling tales"!
Road bikes are OK. Better with 28mm tires.

Nerius - You were begging me to include Black Canyon on a Sunday ride. This is your chance! ... but Boulevard beckons.

Yes, a nice gruppo for the ride on Saturday, including several NCCC members.
Never seen Black Canyon so smooth and nice!
No cuts, no bruises, no crashes and all had a good time.
BLAST-OFF on the way back with the tailwind.

see you next trip,
