Die Hard Double cancelled, to be rescheduled

I apologize.

Was informed the Die Hard Double will be rescheduled due to the fires.  Will post new date as soon as I'm told.

BTW, was riding by Lake Henshaw (talk about white caps), and heading toward Santa Ysabel, was repeated blown into the dirt.  Witness a motorcyclist fly off the road.  Walked the bike, duck down when gusts came up and used both hands to keep the bike from flying into the fields.  Once I got to 78, pass Witch Creek, the wind was so strong, coasted up the hill having to brake cause was going too fast.  15 miles to Ramona in under half hour.  From Ramona, called Donna and notice the sky was getting cloudy.  Lot of dust in the air.  Soon the sky is brown.  Took Highland down and back at home learn of the fire.  And no, I did not cause it with my blazing speed.

BTW 2, three years ago, rode 94 and passing Dulzura, there was a little fire starting.  Coming back on Skyline, the hills were all ablaze on both sides.  Fortunately a bicyclist driving home after a ride in the Cuyamaca's picked me and George up.  Called Donna and she called me an idiot.  She is always right.
The only problem is, I don't learn.

Happy safe bicycling, David
