Saturday 6/29...Some of us are starting Long Ride at 7 am

A bunch of us are going to start the Long Ride at 7 am on Saturday (6/29) to avoid at least some of the heat that's expected.

Have fun. The normal start at 8 am will also take place. We'll make an extra stop if needed for liquids.

Tips for beating the heat. We can't complain. I just got back from Dallas at 101 degrees.

Thanks Karl, although I'm a bit jealous (kind of only due to it is summer) since DFW was my HS/college stomping grounds and I haven't been there in 5 years.

I especially like the ice cream stop idea.....or frozen yogurt.....the hell with a coffee ride......we might need to add one of those stops into a summer ride.....soon!  be warned, I will be deaf to the complaints of length of that inevitable soon to come true stop!!
