Anybody up for a Hike? Helps strenghten legs for better biking...

WHEN: Tuesday, November 19th  - Departing at 9 a.m.
WHAT: Lets put on our tennis shoes or hiking boots and get with nature....
WHERE: Elfin Forest Hike Trail

Overview: Elfin Forest Hike is about 6.8 miles long and located near Escondido, California. The trail is great for hiking and normally takes 1-3 hours depending on how far you want to hike.

Getting there: 8833 Harmony Grove Rd, Escondido, CA  92029

Some suggestions on what to bring:
Cell phone
Small first aid kit
Water
Snack
Hat
Gloves
Walking poles if you have them
Camera if you are a picture buff
Layer clothing to accommodate the weather

Bring a friend and/or dog (must be kept on a leash)

Thanks for joining me in the hike this morning.  Great weather and a nice 6.8 mile workout.  Our legs will thank us for this workout next we climb the Twin Oaks.  One more hike and we will be ready to do the Double Peak... Don't forget that Sleeping Indian is still waiting for our visit coming up as well  :)

P.S.  I sure felt the affects from the hike while riding up the hills this morning... ouch!  Hope you that rode didn't mind.  I bet that you didn't think I knew that many hills in San Marcos eh... Got plenty more up my sleeve to try out.   Had to test my theory...hike to better bike. It is going to work  :)
