Hi Club Members and All,
Thanks for all the emails and the good vibs sent this way. All is appreciated and helps in the recovery process.
Yes, they put some screws in there only a few hours after the incident on Twin Oaks Road last Saturday, the 2nd of Feb. My left shoulder and clavicle were smashed up good also. The left knee remains to be seen what's up with that. All the bad stuff happened on my left side with bruises on other parts too.

I spent 3 nights in the hospital and then over to rehab/continuing care. I hit the rehab heavy, and could only handle 7 nights there and am home now, hoping to do some more good stuff. It's the16 steps getting into the house that are the real bummers!
I appreciate the support of the NCCC riders during this time.

Richard Duquette is working diligently on the case. He has been accumulating a witness list, their statements & evidence to prove the case. His licensed investigator & paralegal (Terri) is assisting him. I have been in continuing contact with him and Terri has twice seen me in the hospital. Please direct all inquires about the case to Richard or Terri (if hes in court), at rduquete@911law.com,  office-phone-760-730-0500. cell phone 760390-5234.

The support of NCCC has been outstanding, the cycling community has been strong & I appreciate the efforts of all.

Thanks for the update Kelly.  Richard really helped me when I was run over by a semi truck.  It wasn't clear to me if you hit the guy in the road or his truck?

Recover is like a race.. forward progress.... training for the next step.  The body is a remarkable machine when you treat it the right way.  It is a long road but you will get to the finish!
