I just got a notice about this year's version of the California Dream Ride. I registered for it (FREE).

Each year, this ride is a big group ride sponsored by the California Bike Coalition (Calbike), usually down the coast from the Bay Area or similar, where you get people to pledge your ride as a statewide fundraiser. This year, you're on your own to go on a ride(s) somewhere and some time between Sep 3-10 and with no pledging requirement. Only requirement is you stop for pie somewhere, my kind of ride. I've been stopping at the Apple Cornery Bakery in Julian on solo rides during COVID-19 usually involving Kitchen Creek, Engineers Rd, or some variation thereof. There is also our classic pie ("pi" usually ridden on March 14 - get it?) in the past where we do Mt Palomar, Mesa Grande and get pie in Santa Ysabel.

Anyone want to join? Physical distancing required to join me. We can spread out if many are interested - it'll happen anyway on those routes. Day and route(s) TBD.
