Saturday Long Ride Camp Pendleton 9/11

We are riding through Camp Pendleton on our way to San Clemente so please BRING YOUR BASE PASS.

If you do not have a pass and can't get one before the ride and you still want to participate, you have the option of riding on the 5 between Oceanside and the Las Pulgas exit and then meeting the group at the parking area right off the exit.

The ride on the 5 is OK, giant shoulder, it has been free of debris the times I have ridden it and it is faster than going through the base.

I looked at the Pendleton website just to make sure it is open to cyclist on 9/11 and it did not say one way or the other, so I assume open unless someone has more information.

Just something to consider.
