Bicycle Friendly Oceanside

For those of you who live or ride in Oceanside, this Wednesday evening, November 19 at 5:00 PM in the City Council Chambers will be a great time to celebrate the City's recent designation by the League of American Bicyclists as a Bicycle Friendly Community. 

I will be presenting the award on behalf of the League to the Mayor and City Council and invite all of you who can attend to come and show your support for what the City has already done and to encourage them by your presence to continue beyond the Bronze level award to Silver, Gold, and Platinum.  You can best indicate your support by bringing your helmets into the Council Chambers with you. 

This message and invitation is being sent to the weekly recipients of the Wednesday ride notice, so please feel free to forward this to other cyclists who don't have the opportunity to ride with us.
