Zumaque and see you in the fall

Now that I have figured out where Zumague is on the map I can remember riding Artesian from Rancho Bernado - on a Mountain Bike in my lunch break - used to go as far as the river and ride back up - that was bad enoough - I thought that descent looked familiar!!!

I think it was a ford at that time - pleased I went back rather than finding "Zumaque"!!  On the third story Rob was heard to give a loud expletive deletive - soemthing hell I think - I would have joined him but had no spare breath - on the small ring and the spokes at the time.

Anyway guys - I am off to the UK for 10 weeks this summer - will be riding the Arrogant Bastard Jersey over there on a loaner bike. See you all in the fall (autumn for Rob) - I will miss the Saturday rides with you all in the meantime.

Have a great trip Doug!  We will miss you out there on the road...and just think...in the UK Zumaque would have been a downhill !! (driving on the left side of the road joke)
